Duke of Ed Bronze Practise Expedition 2026

Our 2025/2026 Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Awards from Year 9 participated in their second training day/mock expedition at Cannock Chase recently. They had to navigate, find their bearings, use a compass, as well as safely set up a tent and base camp in very strong winds. These are all of the skills they will need ahead of their overnight Camp in June.

The students were amazing on the day and we have received positive feedback from Pioneer Leadership. Comments from the instructor were “a wonderful group of young people, who obviously wanted to be here and learn!”
