KS3 Study Support
KS3 Study Support
To support students in Key Stage 3 with their learning, we have developed a KS3 Study Support section on our Academy website. This area provides subject-specific resources and guidance designed to help students consolidate their learning both in school and at home.
The resources available aim to support understanding of key concepts and encourage effective study habits, helping students to build confidence and make progress across the curriculum.
Parents and carers are encouraged to access these materials with their child to help support learning at home.
GOLD Assessment week WB 19th January 2026
(Midpoint KS3 Assessment)
GOLD assessments will be used to accurately monitor and evaluate our curriculum provision and the progress our pupils make, to ensure that it meets the high expectations we hold for ourselves and our pupils. These midpoint assessments will inform our CORE rank which will include all key metrics including the academic outcomes achieved in Common Assessment exams (midpoint & endpoint). This report will give students a clear picture of where they rank academically and behaviourally. For more information, please follow the following link: Assessment-Rank-Order. Furthermore, we have a requirement to monitor and report on the progress of all our pupils to Parents, Governors, Trustees and the Department for Education.
All curriculum subjects will be assessed over the course of this week and pupils will be expected to complete these assessments in controlled exam conditions.

These endpoint assessments will again inform our CORE rank which will include all key metrics including the academic outcomes achieved in Common Assessment exams (midpoint & endpoint).
