Meet the SWB6th Team
Inspiring Growth, Shaping Futures

At SWB6th, you will never feel on your own. From dedicated staff to our student leaders, there’s always someone you can turn to for support, guidance, and encouragement. Our team is here to help you succeed academically, personally, and socially and to make sure every student feels included and valued.
Our Sixth Form Staff

Miss Dutton – Assistant Principal (KS5)
“My role is to oversee the bigger picture of Sixth Form. I want every student to leave SWB6th feeling confident, ambitious, and ready for their next steps. My door is always open — whether you need guidance, advice, or just a listening ear.”
Miss Robbins – Assistant Lead of Sixth Form
“You’ll see me around the centre a lot! I work closely with our sixth formers, offering mentoring and helping students link in with support programmes if they need it. I love seeing students grow in confidence and achieve things they didn’t think possible.”
Mr Williams – Head of Year 12 and 13
“I’m here to support you with anything pastoral. That means checking in if your attendance drops, talking with parents or carers if there are concerns, and making sure you’re on track. I also look after the Sixth Form Centre day-to-day — it’s important to me that it feels like a positive, purposeful space where you can succeed.”
Miss Shuttleworth – Lead Practitioner for KS5
“I work with both staff and students to make sure you’re developing strong study habits and independence. You’ll see me in lessons sometimes, helping teachers stretch and support you, and I’ll be heavily involved once you start planning for UCAS. My focus is making sure you’ve got the skills you need for university-level study and beyond.”
Mr Wall – Careers Adviser
“I’m here to help you plan your future. Whether that’s applying to university, looking at apprenticeships, or stepping straight into work, I’ll support you one-to-one. I also organise work experience opportunities and help you shape a clear plan for life after sixth form. Whatever your next step, I’ll make sure you feel ready for it.”
Our Year 13 Senior Leadership Team

Leadership at SWB6th doesn’t just come from staff. Our Year 13 Senior Leadership Team (SLT) plays an important role in shaping sixth form life. Each member has a focus area, ensuring every student has someone to turn to — whether it’s for wellbeing, academic support, or simply to feel more connected.
Kat Chen & Charlotte Samuels – Pupil Mentoring and Academic Achievement
“We’re here to help you with study skills, organisation, and keeping on top of your subjects. We know sixth form can feel like a big step up, so if you’re ever struggling or just want tips on managing workload, come and chat with us.”
Bethany Mansell-Grey & Wiktoria Soltysiak – Driving Rewards and Events
“Our role is to make sure there’s always something to look forward to. From organising socials to celebrating student achievements, we want sixth form to be fun, motivating, and rewarding for everyone.”
Darrel Kuzakwawo – Championing Inclusivity and Diversity
“I’m passionate about making sure every student feels they belong here. My role is about celebrating our diverse community, promoting equality, and making sure all voices are heard. If you ever feel left out or unheard — come to me.”
Preston Howard – Promoting Wellbeing
“Looking after your wellbeing is so important, especially during busy sixth form years. I want to help keep mental health conversations open, encourage healthy habits, and point you towards support when you need it.”
Sargun Singh – Promoting Student Welfare and Supporting New Students
“Starting sixth form can feel overwhelming, and I want new students to feel welcome and supported from day one. I’m here if you ever feel unsure, need advice, or just want someone to help you settle in.”
Our Year 12 Deputy Senior Team
We’re currently recruiting our Year 12 Deputy Senior Team. This is an exciting opportunity for new sixth formers to step into leadership, represent their peers, and work alongside our Year 13 SLT.
Once appointed, they’ll take on roles that continue to make SWB6th inclusive, supportive, and full of opportunities for student voice.
Together, We are here for You
At SWB6th, you’re never just another student, you are part of a community where staff and students work side by side to support each other. Whether it’s guidance from a teacher, mentoring from a fellow sixth former, or simply a friendly face to check in with, there’s always someone here for you.
Inspiring Growth, Shaping Futures isn’t just our slogan — it’s the way we approach every day. Whoever you are, whatever your ambitions, you’ll find the support, encouragement, and opportunities you need to thrive at SWB6th.
