SWB students receive excellent post-16 results

Ormiston SWB Academy students are celebrating the rewards of their hard work after collecting their post-16 grades this morning.

The Year 13 students at the academy, located on Dudley Street, Bilston and part of Ormiston Academies Trust, have achieved some brilliant results following two years of hard work and determination.

The academy is celebrating an outstanding year of achievement. In A-Level fine art, an impressive 65% of students secured top grades of A*–A. SWB’s vocational pathways also shone, with ICT achieving 63% of grades at Distinction*–Distinction, and health and social care excelling with 80% of students awarded Distinction*–Distinction. These results are a testament to the hard work, talent, and dedication of all the students and staff.

Across the academy, there has been a shared sense of pride as everyone has joined in recognising these successes. Many students are now preparing to take the next step, whether that’s beginning studies at their chosen universities, starting rewarding careers, or embarking on prestigious apprenticeships.

Although every student has much to be proud of, a few have achieved results that truly set them apart. Notable examples are:
