Casey Unitt was nominated to be a part of the Queens Baton relay for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games for his sporting excellence and dedication to his tennis. He currently is ranked 29th in the UK which is a great achievement and he has made great progress of late.
Casey did his leg of the Queens Baton Relay on Monday 25th July 2022. He took the Baton at the very start of the days procession and completed his 0.1 miles in Tipton Town centre before handing the baton to another awaiting Baton Bearer. It was a great day for all of Casey’s friends and family. In school Casey represents SWB Academy in the Year 9 boys football team which have won the Wolverhampton League and Cup double – a first for the Academy. In addition to this, Casey is a key part of the student sports leadership group which has lead sessions and competitions with the local primary schools.
