Wolverhampton Schools Baton Relay

On Wednesday 15th June, SWB Academy has an opportunity to host the Wolverhampton Schools Baton Relay to celebrate the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Selected students had a 10 minute presentation about the forthcoming Games including the Baton, our official Queens Baton Bearer in Year 9 Casey Unitt as well as the sports and locations of the Games.

Following this, students has an opportunity to take part in an exhibition competition for 3 Commonwealth Games sports; hockey, netball and cricket.
