Progress Day
I am writing to you to invite you to attend our online progress day on Friday 09 July 2021. In contrast
to previous years, we will be running a virtual progress day through an app called ‘SchoolCloud.’ This
is to comply with current pandemic restrictions and to trial the system to see if we might consider a
similar approach in the future.
On the day, you will need access to the internet through a device such as a computer, tablet or smartphone. You will be able to book a meeting in advance of the day with your child’s Personal Tutor who will discuss your child’s achievements in each subject. The meeting will also give you an up to date picture of any concerns as regards behaviour, punctuality or attendance as well as a
chance to recognise and celebrate success.
Full details of how to book your appointment will be sent out via ParentMail in a separate document.
The event will begin at 8:30am and end at 3:30pm.
As the progress day is virtual the academy will be closed to students on Friday 09 July 2021.
I strongly encourage you to attend this event with your child to ensure that you are fully informed
about your child’s current and expected progress.
