On Thursday 5th July over 70 students from Year 7-10 traveled to Northwood Stadium, Stoke for the annual Ormiston Academies Trust Sports Cup. The day consisted of athletics, dodgeball, football, tag rugby, dance and a tug of war competition. With over 700 of the most talented students across 7 Ormiston schools, competition was fierce across all competition areas. Despite Ormiston Horizon (Stoke) winning the overall competition, OSWBA came a credible 4th with most of our successes coming through the athletics.
Kie Houlihan (800m), Luke Newton (100m), Michael Banks (800m), Sophie Banks (800m), Kacie Rogaliksi (100m) all being crowned OAT Sports Cup Gold medalists within their respective competitions.

Members of the schools new dance troupe “4th Wall Performance Academy” competed against 5 schools in a dance competition, despite a good performance from all students, they were beaten to the title from a very impressive routine by the George Salter Academy.

A big thanks to all the athlete’s that took part you were a real credit to the Academy and a special mention to all of our Sports Leader that did a superb job on the day.
