Oats Got Talent Semi Finals

Yesterday we had the privilege of hosting the “Ormiston’s Got Talent” regional semi final, and we had two of our students, Darius and Anna, performing in the semis. Both students are multi-talented, not only showcasing brilliant vocalists, but unique songwriting talents, with both creating their own songs for the performance.

Anna sung a heartfelt and optimistic song about her dreams, and Darius sung a lively love song “By the Lake” that has the audience clapping along.

Both did brilliantly well, with Darius making it through to the finals to be held later this year. Well done Darius! There are still a number of wildcard places available for the final and we are hopeful that Anna may still receive an place in the national finals once all the points are added.

We must also thank our “Backstage Brains” crew, Summer and Troy (Lighting),Annabel and Keagan (sound) and not forgetting Lennon and Isabel on sound setup and stage management. The OAT organisers were very complimentary of how well the students ran the technical side of the show and all were extremely polite to our visitors. Well done to everyone who took part in the day!
