Raising Awareness of Mental Well-Being is always a priority and this this week sees us celebrate ‘Children’s Mental Health Week’

To support this, the academy is delivering some CORE lessons focusing on this area and all students will be supported in having some time to think about their mental  well being.  If you are a student  – make sure you attend the lessons, and if you are a parent – make sure your child/ren attend.

All of us need to think about keeping safe and well, even more so during these challenging times when the usual support systems we access daily are not there anymore: friends, teachers, hobbies, clubs, extended family etc. Making time for things we enjoy, that help us to relax and alleviate stress are so important.

Look out for a special photography competition related to Mental Health Week.  Details will be announced later today.

We have attached some sites you can access to help support Children’s Mental Health week…but remember it’s all about creating opportunities for enjoyment, de stressing and relaxation.

You can of course always access help if you need it : Please see the links below and remember safeguarding@oswba.co.uk for information and help.

Keep smiling, stay happy and enjoy.

From us all at OSWB.
