CORE Day 4/5

Here are just a few photos from 2 amazing CORE days, full of memories that will last a lifetime. Over 600 students have left our school gates and been a credit to our school!

We wanted to make sure our students are exposed to the world beyond Bilston and to help them develop skills that will serve them well through life. From cooking up a con carne, to balancing a budget and engaging with employers, to dipping their toes into the sea or spotting the London eye, our students have been given the chance to experience things beyond the norm.

During the last two days, some of our students have left Bilston for the first time, cooked for the first time and spoken to adults that aren’t their teachers or family for the first time! This is exactly why our CORE curriculum exists – to provide life chances and opportunities for our students.
