Bikeability programme

Ormiston SWB welcomed the ‘Bikeability’ programme to our academy last week.

Over 20 lower school pupils had the opportunity to develop their skills and confidence for cycling on single-lane roads and simple junctions with mostly moderate motor traffic flows.

By undertaking the Level 2 qualification, the pupils are more prepared for cycling on more complex, often busier/faster roads and junctions, enabling their journey to school to be much safer.

The instructors were full of praise for our wonderful students who conducted themselves immaculately throughout.

A big thank you to the Bikeability instructors and Wolverhampton Council who continue to support the delivery of this fantastic programme.
